 Vehicle Tracking with Smart Track Digital Cellular

The Smart Track Digital Cellular vehicle tracking system is a GPS live-tracking, recording and analysis device used to accurately monitor a car, truck or any other asset’s travel activity at all times. It uses GPS and Digital Cellular Technology to pinpoint the location of the target with incredible accuracy. The tracking unit will also store all of the travel activity onto a compact flash memory card for detailed review and analysis. The Smart Track Digital Cellular software to the right shows the capability of tracking 5 vehicles at the same time. When you move the cursor over the vehicle icon, it will display information about that vehicle including speed and the approximate address.

The Smart Track Digital Cellular unit uses Compact Flash Cards (Removable Media) to store all of the tracking data. Don’t be fooled by cheaper data logging devices that use internal memory to store data. These types of tracking devices can be considered disposable because they have a limited life. With Compact Flash Cards, if the flash memory wears out, all you have to do is replace the card.

The unit is mounted on a 70 quart ice chest with a heat exchanger and pump completely enclosed inside the chest. The Jo Cool circulates 275 cubic feet of air per minute and operates on 12 volts, at a draw of 8.5 amps.

Available in color or black and white, this array of systems is designed to utilize an aluminum pole extending to 25 feet. The camera cable automatically adjusts to the desired length. Many camera choices are possible. From a 3/4-inch thick black-and-white pinhole camera, to the 2-inch cube color camera, there is a camera choice that makes sense for your application. The camera can fit into cavity openings as small as 1.2 inches (3.0 cm) in diameter.

Description
The TreeTop II (tm) Elevated Inspection System can peer into openings as small as 1.2 inches (3.0 cm), and survey objects 50 feet high, sending video images to a 3.8 inch diameter monitor mounted to the base of the fiberglass pole. The cable spool with electronic rotary feedthrough manages 50 feet of camera cable. With the near-infrared camera the user can discretely inspect the scene, day or night, with minimal disturbance. A larger 2.3 inch diameter color camera is available.

Who else uses this system?
The TreeTop II has a wide array of uses. Policemen, firemen, and security teams use the video system to survey rooftops as high as three stories. Broadcast and cable news crews can fit a high-quality camera to the pole for a unique story angle. We can customize the system to fit many other needs.

What the system includes
The TreeTop II includes a high-resolution near-infrared video camera, which can be adjusted for a full range of focal points and viewing angles. The 1.2-inch diameter Delryn camera housing is mounted atop a 50-foot telescoping fiberglass pole. The 3.8-inch diameter Citizen monitor is attached to the base of the pole at groundlevel. The 50-foot camera cable winds through an electronic rotary feedthrough.

RealCam 5000 is a self-contained device as small as a diary. It captures the images from the video camera, compresses them into JPEG format, and prepares them to be downloaded via a network or a phone line.

RealCam 5000 is pre-configured as a World Wide Web Server. Setting up is as simple as assigning an IP address or ID name, and it is ready to operate.

The built-in UTP and BNC interfaces, and the 33.6kbps modem, supports TCP/IP and PPP protocols for Intranet, Internet, and direct dial-in applications. Images are easily accessed by using standard Internet browsers such as Netscape Navigator and MS Explorer. RealCam 5000 is compatible with all systems running on Windows, Mac, or Unix.
